The new stage skins lag the game#874

It would be awesome to be able to turn off the new stage skins, or maybe to be able to reduce the polygon count in the new stage skins? I don’t know what causes it but the underground arena, digger plat one, and new air armada all lag my game so bad it’s hard to play.

I don’t need the game to be even a little pretty, I just want it to play smooth

it’s only on these specific stage skins, which is tough because I don’t have any control over that a lot of the time.

I’m on a fedora laptop so I am running through proton, but I have a really nice amd apu and haven’t had any trouble with the game until an update or two ago.
