his back throw and up air both dont remove ranno poison stacks when you hit them. All of eta’s other moves interact with poison correctly but specifically those two don’t remove any poison stacks.

Any move without a hit component (ie has hitpause when it connects) doesn’t remove poison stacks, because poison stacks are removed during hitpause. There are a decent amount of such moves across the cast (La Reina and Kragg back throws are the same).
These moves also can’t galaxy even when a kill is guaranteed because the galaxy effect extends hitpause

I really do hope this gets looked into at some point. These moves lacking hitpause is probably also why they have no sfx. Compare La Reina back throw to Mario’s in Smash Ultimate and you can clearly tell which one has more impact, even though they look the same.

Agreed, I’ve heard a possible reason for this is that it might seem jarring for certain moves/animations to galaxy, but I just don’t think this is sensible. Mario’s back throw still has a plenty of momentum even on a freeze frame like you mentioned, and La Reina already has a spinny back throw that can galaxy in her back air. Not sure why that move has a small hit component but back throw doesn’t
