Slade VA credit?#767

Wasn’t sure if this was already brought up but Slade’s VA isn’t credited in the credits scroll so I figured I’d make a nolt to let y’all know!

They also still haven’t updated Liv Smith, the voice of Orcane’s name since she transitioned. I don’t know if this is a mistake or maybe she prefers to be credited by the name she went by at the time, but it’s weird how you can equip all the trans flags you want on your profile while the trans voice actor is deadnamed in the credits.

Is it “weird” or is it a simple oversight like with slades va? Don’t think we need to imply malicious intent, especially if the change wasn’t requested, the credits programmer didn’t know they transitioned, or if they honestly forgot. I do hope it gets changed very soon

Oh I don’t mean to imply that it’s malicious, I think it’s a mistake and they’ve mostly forgotten about the credits, but it’s just very jarring when the game itself is so obviously trans inclusive

The audio credits are updated in specific windows (everytime a new character launches) and Slade’s omission was an oversight that will be fixed whenever a hotfix happens.
About Liv Smith’s case, we weren’t aware of that but already got in touch with her to make sure we’re using her correct name and this will also be reflected in-game as soon as a hotfix drops.
