A couple patches ago Ftilt was made to be more consistent, and this was incredible and I am so grateful. It instantly became so much more reliable, but recently I have had even more experiences of people simply not getting hit by the final hitbox of it. It seems to happen when they get launched a bit too high for the final hitbox to connect, so maybe increasing the size of the final hitbox vertically a bit would be the best solution, or have the second hit drag them down more. I am okay with ftilt failing with SDI or when hitting in awkward positions, but both of the clips sent below are times where I believe the ftilt should fully connect and are very similar to instances in the past where it would, so I imagine this is not intended.

I’ve also had this issue.
Thanks for posting.
I hate that ftilt gets spot dodged. Come on it’s a multi-hit move. It should be the counter to spot dodge.
