Probably only something that should come after the financial situation is more stable, but imagine if every character had a matchup-specific monologue before or after the game? Would not only be really cool but build the likeability of everyone on the cast, (god knows some of the R1 cast needs some of that). I feel that it would also motivate new players most of all, as it would give them even more reason to cling to a character they like.

personally i wish the time between games was completely skippable
