This is the most fun I've had with the game in months, this update is genuinely a godsend to help with the more frustrating elements of the game#43

Let me start off by saying that I already loved the game before this update, I have over a thousand hours clocked in at this point. But this update has made the game a billion times more enjoyable.

Its so refreshing to play in a setting that’s explicitly casual instead of “ranked without the ranks”. Now if i ever get tired of the competitiveness of ranked i can choose another mode that offers an actually more laid back change of pace.

In the old casual you could be matched against someone way above your level and just be curbstomped because the player with the better game sense always wins. Now even if that happens items level the playing field a lot, like sure the better player will always have the advantage no matter what but they can also be caught off guard by the random nature of them.

Its the first time in a while where I’ve played for an extended period of time without coming out the other end frustrated, even when I keep losing I still smile because the items caused something cool/funny to happen.

Also Slade is fun as fuck
