I feel bad even saying this, but I’ve posted about this multiple times and I’ve never even seen the respect of a dev response why this can’t be helped.
I have a disorder with my hand that prevents me from doing the precise inputs generally, but specifically down presses that floor hugging in this game require. In game a like melee and project m various angles of holding down give me crouch cancels which allows someone like me who can’t always hit that exact angel to still participate in the mechanic at no harm to any one.
Why is the mechanic so overly specific in this game and what would it hit to have a larger spectrum on the analog for reading a crouch?

Floorhugs and crouches can even be done with a full diagonal input, generally working even higher than a pure diagonal. I don’t believe it should be much different from the way it is in Melee and PM at all. So the only way I can see this being much different from Melee/PM is if you’re trying to use right stick-only to flug, or if it’s the buffer preventing you from crouching in some scenarios (which could happen if your hard press threshold is super low/left stick sensitivity is super high). You also may be misunderstanding something about how it works in RoA2, so I could help explain something if you give me any examples of this happening to you.
I’d recommend going into advanced settings -> Analog settings in your controls and noting your left stick sensitivity and left stick hard press threshold. Delete your tag, then remake your controls on a new one. If your left stick sensitivity or hard press threshold are super different from default, you may wanna note that. If you reply here or message me directly somewhere, I can tell you what that means and walk you through adjusting it to be where you like it.
