Title Screen: Don't require button press to compile shaders and connect to server#1189

When launching the game, it first goes into a cutscene, then after that, it goes to the title screen with a “Press any button” prompt. Pressing a button triggers it to compile shaders and connect to the online services.

It’d be nice if it could do those things in the background as soon as the application is launched instead of requiring a user action. The title screen and “press any button” can stay as is, but they could simply go straight to the main menu if those tasks are already finished.

Best case, it would make these startup steps completely invisible. Other than that, it would at least appear to be faster.

Additionally (Or alternatively), if shaders are precompiled in the background, it could be changed so they don’t block you from going to the main menu. You could add a little progress bar in the corner and then just prevent players from launching game-modes (or warn them about potential performance issues for not waiting). For an example, “The Finals” does this pretty well and I know at least some people on the dev team play that game.
