Revert the recent orcane puddle change#1183

This is by far one of the dumbest changes made. Basically yall have added a new finicky aspect of an already difficult and technical character. Like the neutral special after down special change, it just feels awkward. And for what, so orcane’s have to add another thing to their mental stack.
For more context I play with a connection that will randomly fluctuate and give me lag spikes, and as you would guess I often end up off stage. Now my puddle can disappear during this so I can end up there with much more downside because I have to pray my recovery: spaced below the stage, I am able to react to a potential edge guard, and that I input everything correctly.
Now for the orcane haters among the playtesters (I know it is a majority of you) please actually think about the fact there are people who play this character. Yall often apply awkward, clunky and obnoxious nerfs to very specific behaviors that affect the rest of the game (again the neural special after down special change). Yall don’t like the fact that he has a free recovery sometimes even though he has a very punishable recovery until he reaches the wall. You already nerfed the distance traveled by side special when you changed it to bouncing whale.
Now I should not be suggesting other nerfs because he didn’t deserve them in the first place but: increase the time it takes to teleport, or make teleport riskier somehow. This encourages players to hit orcane asap.
I genuinely feel like I am participating in appeasement at this point. #stoporcanehate

of all the changes they could make to orcane they put puddle on a timer, that has to be the dumbest thing ever, i feel like the devs are completely out of their minds right now
Lets make our character so unbelievably obtuse that nobody will want to pick them up or try them

I feel like they’re just forgetting that the character should be fun to play. I don’t want a timer going off every 6 seconds telling me I have to stop and put down puddle. I don’t want to think twice about engaging with the opponent cause maybe I have to put puddle down. If nothing happens for three seconds in neutral should I run away and put down my puddle to be optimal. It feels like such a ridiculous out of touch change. They’ve already basically reworked this character like 5 times and he feels nothing like what he used to already. Why do they have to take away something every other patch. First it was his bubbles, then it was the end lag on every move, then it was his wavedash and airspeed, then it was side b teleport, then it was side b altogether, and now its his upb. This just feels ridiculous. I want to play Orcane, not whatever this amalgamation of changes is making him. I feel like I’ve given most of his changes the benefit of the doubt, but this one just feels too stupid for me to look past. If people really find far teleport a problem freaking counterpick a small stage!! This just make me frustrated. They need to revert this. I don’t understand the hate for this character.

They didn’t change his wavedash. They changed his dashspeed and jumpspeed too. And god I hate these changes. I’ve been complaining about the changes to his movements speed for a year now. And we absolutely never get answers from the devs. They give Orcane a worse side b (but funnier I must admit) and said : “I hope you’re gonna stop complaining now.” No. We. Are. not.

Why is it so important to not give Orcane his dashspeed back? Especially now that you nerfed his bubble and puddle plays? And also his recovery? Even when he had 19.6 dashspeed he had a lower dashspeed than Clairen. It wasn’t broken, nor toxic, and it was fun. It was making him more aggressive.

Give Orcane something PLEASE! And if I have to choose, his old dashspeed and jumpspeed.
I don’t even think I’m gonna play the game anymore… It was the only character I’ve found really fun. And he just feel like a used tissue now (I wrote something else at first, I let you imagine what).
